Airtime is a first-of-its-kind, independent, decentralized festival and music conference, unifying the underground radio platforms across Asia in the idyllic coastal city Da Nang and the ancient village of Hoi An, Vietnam.
For 4 days, we invite you to experience the very best of this urban oasis, with more than 20 events planned across 15+ venues, featuring the brightest and most intriguing artists from the major cultural hubs in Asia.
During the day, expect talks and workshops led by world-renowned experts and cultural icons; beach-side record label showcases; raves in local cafes; shared meals in hidden gem restaurants, and sonic encounters with "third-spaces"; all soundtracked by the tastemakers pushing forward the sounds of the continent.
Friday night, we transform the center of Da Nang's nightlife district into a walkable circuit of 8 nightclub pavillions, each curated by one Asian radio platform. Saturday we move to Hoi An for a day of workshops, locally-sourced dinner, and live music in the middle of the rice paddies. The night culminates in one all-together rave featuring the Vietnam debuts of two legends of house and techno from Japan and Korea. On Sunday we head to a riverside community arts center carved into a cave-like structure for musical showcases and a farewell cocktail hour at sunset.
